To mitigate the effects of the Middle East conflict, such as rising oil prices and inflation, the government introduced the Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT), a framework to help ensure the delivery of basic services and continuity of economic activity.
Part of this framework is the UPLIFT Cash Assistance Program, which provides financial aid to poor, near-poor, and low-income households. These include 4Ps and WGP members (Group 1); households identified by the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System or CBMS (Group 2); and low-income SSS members earning PHP 20,000 or below (Group 3).

Manual and Digital Payouts for Beneficiaries
Under the UPLIFT Program, Group 1 beneficiaries will receive a one-time cash assistance of PHP 2,000 each, to be given manually. Meanwhile, Group 3 beneficiaries will receive PHP 2,000 per month for six months; this will be deposited directly to their enrolled SSS disbursement accounts.
For those in Group 2, they will also receive PHP 2,000 per month for six months. The first payout will be given manually, while succeeding payouts will be disbursed “digitally” through GCash, LandBank, or other accounts. To receive the remaining payouts over the next five months, Group 2 beneficiaries need to enroll their accounts in the DSWD UPLIFT G2P Portal.
What is the DSWD UPLIFT G2P Portal?
The DSWD UPLIFT G2P Portal is a secure digital platform where beneficiaries can verify their identity, as well as nominate their preferred financial service provider to receive cash assistance.
How to Check Beneficiary Eligibility

There are two ways in which Group 2 beneficiaries can register their account on the DSWD UPLIFT G2P Portal: through the eGovPH mobile app, or through “Basta Beripikado Mabilis ang Serbisyo” (BBM Serbisyo), a digital platform that can verify beneficiaries through their PhilSys ID.

List of Accredited Banks and E-Wallets
Aside from GCash and LandBank, you can use other accredited banks and e-wallets to receive UPLIFT cash assistance. The list includes thrift banks, digital banks, non-bank financial institutions, universal and commercial banks, and rural banks, as follows:

The DSWD UPLIFT cash assistance is a huge help for many Filipinos, especially those who are greatly affected by rising inflation, economic crisis, conflict, and other emergencies. Over the next few months, we can expect many people in vulnerable sectors to benefit from this program.
Aside from providing cash assistance, the DSWD also offers medical aid in the form of “Guarantee Letters” (GL), which are recognized in many hospitals and pharmacies across the Philippines. Check out this article for the list of pharmacies and service providers that accept DSWD GLs.
